Kitchen has been completely remodeled with newer cabinets, counters and white appliances. This property last sold for $550,000 in 2010. Bathrooms are original as well as wet bar with the exception of the flooring. Many different types of flooring is used in this unit, entry tile, speckled carpet, original carpet in the closets, white vinyl in kitchen mock wood vinyl in baths. The A/C is original to the unit but the unit is west facing and gets a wonderful bay breeze.
Unit 431 of Marina Park is a great location, it is on the top floor and very private. It faces the park and has some peak water views which unfortunately may be hindered by the new bay construction starting soon. It does get a lot of light which is not the case for all Marina Park units.
While showing this unit, I did notice a lot of less than perfect craftsmanship on some of the upgrades. This includes flooring installation, areas above backsplash, molding and electrical outlets painted over etc. This is one you need to see, the photos are a little deceiving. This will be a great fixer for someone! In it’s current condition I imagine something like this would rent out for around $2800-$3000 a month. Maybe a little more for someone familiar with the community. It will be interesting to see how the market receives this price.
